In our company we design and field some very special technologies. We are proud of what we do, and believe we offer the “best-in-class”. But with that pride comes a special responsibility, as well. In everything we do at PSI we support U.S. national security interests, and we strictly follow any and all applicable export control laws. We have spared no expense to inculcate the finest available set of export compliance procedures. But in order for that system to work -- and thereby protect both our national security and our company’s interests -- it falls on you to shoulder your share of this burden. That is the purpose of this Website, to help you learn all that you need to help this very important group effort.
Appended hereto are two sub-pages with (i) New Employee Study Material, and (ii) New Employee Compliance Test.
This intranet site contains the required training modules for PSI personnel. You can learn at your own pace. Questions can be addressed to the PSI export compliance officer, Ms. Martha Estrada, at (818) 531-3206 or by email.
New employees are expected to master the ITAR/EAR Test material, within 2 weeks of hire date, sufficiently well to successfully pass the online Intro ITAR/EAR Test on this site. “ITAR” is the State Department’s International Traffic in Arms Regulations. This test also includes questions on rules from the Commerce Department’s Export Administration Regulations ("EAR"). These two agencies and their regulations govern all exports made by PSI.
